PC USERS

If you are a PC user you will need to obtain the latest version of Microsoft's
Windows Media Player Versian 9

AND you will also need to download and install the latest
DivX 5.1.1 Playback Codec (DivX? 5.1.1) New Version!

Important:
Don't forget to reboot your computer once the new codec and media player software has been installed.

Also, when viewing our video clips, please save the video clip to your hard disk first by right-clicking your mouse on the video clip link and choosing "save target as" with Internet Explorer or "save link as" with Netscape. If you try and view the clip directly through your browser you may get a "MP42 Compressor Not Found" or similar error. This is why you must save the clip to your hard disk and then view it with Windows Media Player. By viewing the clip with Windows Media Player, they will work perfectly. :)

Apple / Macintosh USERS

There are a number of DivX codecs out there for the Macintosh, and all of them are free. Some of them are plugins for your QuickTime player, some of them work with Windows Media Player for Mac, and some of them are their own stand-alone viewer application. Which one is best for you depends on which operating system you have installed, what speed your processor is, and what viewing software you prefer to use.

We recommend this codec, especially for MacOS Classic users, although it's now available for both MacOS Classic and MacOS X. It won't play our older videos, which are compressed with the older version of DivX, but it will run smoothly with every movie we've made this year, and it's a lot better than what came before!

Supports both OS 9 and OS X. This codec is supposedly the standard, but the catch is that you need QuickTime 5.0 or newer to use it, and your processor has to be a 400Mhz G3 or faster! It won't work for everyone, but if it works for you, then it will deifnitely work the best.

This stand-alone application supports both OS 9 and OS X -- give it a try!
